ABOUT ME

I’m just a millennial mum out here trying to learn, grow and maintain a shred of myself by pursuing something that brings me joy.   I hope my little passion project inspires or brings light to you in some way.

With hair like a lion’s mane, I’ve always been an up-do chick.  After becoming a mum, my time to invest in hair management plummeted and I wanted to find some ways to add a lil something something to my barnet.  𝖘𝖈𝖗𝖚𝖓𝖈𝖍 𝖘𝖕𝖎𝖈𝖊 was born.  A way for me to "turn up" my locks however I ended up wearing them.

It was important to me that whatever I created was made from recycled materials, ensuring the most minimal environmental impact possible.  I source garments that are made of beautiful materials and d patterns, at the end of their life.  I use whatever I can of them and try to integrate unique features from the original garment to the 𝖘𝖈𝖗𝖚𝖓𝖈𝖍 𝖘𝖕𝖎𝖈𝖊.  This means that each 𝖘𝖈𝖗𝖚𝖓𝖈𝖍 𝖘𝖕𝖎𝖈𝖊 is beautifully bespoke and one of a kind.
